Depending on your own interests, there are many opportunities in and around Rauhala for acting in the nature.

Shops can be found in Muonio (20min), Levi (30min) and Kittilä (45min). In all places there are cash machines, supermarkets,
petrol stations and when it will be necessary also medical care.

In summer you can hike, bike, go boating on the lake and go fishing too then interested. Or just sit on the terrace and relax
in the untouched nature. The Jerisjärvi is a very clear lake and invites you in summer to a cool bath. As the lake is not very
deep, the water temperatures are bearable in the summer also for Central Europeans. More activities you can see on the

During the winter you have extensive opportunities to engage in activities. Cross-country skiing and snowmobile trails are
located near. For the Alpine interested, it is because of the favorable location of the house not too far up to the major ski
